Kingarrock Green Fees
The Welcome Package
The current all-in price for play on the nine hole course is £25 per person and includes the following:
- 5 original hickory clubs, golf balls, 'reddy' tees and an old golf bag.
- A nip of whisky or port to help get into the spirit of the 'roaring twenties' prior to teeing off.
- 'Da Anderson' ginger beer and shortbread on completion of the round.
We try to provide all separate groups of golfers with a one hour gap on the first tee whenever possible. There is a minimum charge of £40 per tee off time to encourage golfers to play with a partner and enjoy some old-fashioned match play. If time allows on the same day, a second round can be played for £10.
The Kingarrock Special
There is an additional package priced at £50 that includes all of the above plus:
- The guarantee of an hour gap on the 1st tee between parties to enable all players to experience the feeling of personal privacy, just as it was when the Sharp family entertained their friends all those years ago.
- Two new wrapped golf balls representing the distance and feel of the early 1900's.
- A miniature of malt whisky in a quality gift bag.
- The option of a further nine holes at no cost.
Kingarrock can be reserverd for your exclusive use for as little as £400. Contact David at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Visitors that play with their own clubs with wooden shafts (e.g. hickory) may do so for half price.
University students and golfers under 21 can play the course for £20. Those who are 16 and under can play for £10 if in the company of a fee paying adult. All under 21 can play a second 9 holes for £5 if time allows.
PGA and BIGGA Members are welcome to receive the courtesy of the course subject to a contribution of £10 to cover the hire of original hickory golf clubs etc.
Reservations can be made for the 1st tee starting at 10am and finishing at 5pm. (From the beginning of October the last bookable tee-time is 4pm.) Where play is requested outside these times we will do our best to make it possible.
Tee times can be booked by contacting us by telephone, e-mail or writing.
